BURKE, VA -- Lake Braddock senior Michelle Presley is not only an outstanding individual runner as shown by her AAA All-State performances as a junior in cross country and during track for 1000 (3:00 PR) meters indoors and 1600 (5:01 PR) meters outdoors, but she is the flag bearer of a tradition of great teams for Lake Braddock. As a sophomore in her first season of cross country, Presley was a member of the 2004 AAA state champion cross country squad from Lake Braddock. She is the only member left from the state champion team and is attempting to held lead her Lady Bruins to the state meet podium again after the team failed to make it out of the competitive Northern Region Meet last year. Presley is coming off a district runner-up showing at the Patriot District Meet to help lead Lake Braddock to a district team crown.
