Concorde District Meet Day 1 Highlights

The Centreville girls team, led by junior Brittni Finch, holds the lead after day one of the Concorde District championships with 43 points.

Finch was a double winner last Thursday evening at the Prince George\'s Sports and Learning Complex as she defended her titles in both the long jump at 18 feet, 4 inches and also the high jump at 5-0.

Finch was also the leading qualifier for the 55 meter dash with a seasonal best time of 7.34 seconds in the semifinals after running 7.40 in the trials and is favored to defend her title in the triple jump along with being scheduled to run on the 4x200 and 4x400 meter relays for Centreville at day two of the championships this Thursday at the P.G. Complex.
