Lake Braddock is the defending regional team champion and will be in the favorite's role once again. The Bruins had a solid, if not overwhelming performance, in winning the Patriot District title last Wednesday by 11 points with their first place team total of 48 points.
Lake Braddock also had the individual winner in Liana Epstein, who looked very strong in the last mile to pull away from the field to win in 18:01, which was the second fastest time overall among all competitors at the four district meets.
The Bruins also displayed some solid pack running with their numbers 2 thru 5 runners all getting in below 19:00 in places 10-13 and with just a nine second spread from Kelly Hagan, Anna Corrigan, Amanda Parker and Erin Landy.
