Boys' Running Events

The boys' will have some chances here or there to step up and win a watch but it is going to take a strong personal best to really have that happen. When it comes to individual running events Gannon Willcutts enters the meet with the strongest chance at leaving with the gold but he is joined by some tough competitors who could really shake things up.
In the Mile Brandon McGorty has both the speed and endurance to do something big here and go sub 4:10 as a junior! Tyler Cox-Philyaw went 4:13 indoors this year meaning we could have a strategic race for VA here. The key will be if Brandon gets out and is by himself, it usually bodes very much into his favor. Jaelen Williams of Phoebus is on the up&up in the hurdles and lets just say you should keep both eyes on him there.
