Ok, this is an article that few states ever get to write but since VA is just on another level this year we can finally write it! With all the elite athletes we have including eight different US #1's we have to really ask, where do they rank in the entire world this year.
Here are the individuals or relay teams that appear in the top 100 in the entire world... in an Olympic year none the less. These rankings are from the IAAF site and updated this week. Some events did not go 100 deep and only went off to a cutoff. (Some notes: Andrew Hunter would rank around 60th in the world at 1500 if they went that deep and boys' hurdles are not ranked since the height is different)
