Jayla Kirkland is one of the top-ranked girls sprint recruits in the Class of 2017: she owns the third-fastest 200m time (23.15) and ties for fourth-fastest in the 100m (11.41). The Woodlawn High School, Ala. senior is a 13-time Alabama state champion, three-time New Balance Nationals champion* and a two-time competitor for Team USA at the world championships. We recently talked to the sprint star and she revealed her top five college choices; watch the video above to learn where Kirkland is considering as well as find out more about this burgeoning talent.
*Technically Jayla is a four-time champion at New Balance, as she won the Freshman 60m Championship in 2014.
