Boys Invitational
Leading the front in this race for Team VA was junior Derek Johnson with his third place finish. It was a great time of 16:02 for the junior who ranks third in the state amongst juniors. His place helped Tuscarora finish 7th in the invitational team title hunt.
VA's top finishing team was the 3A squad from Cave Spring who finished just 21 points shy of winning the team title. Midlothian and Albemarle's boys squads also finished inside the top 7.
