Distance Preview
In the lap races things are going to be fast and competitive. So fast in fact that national records are definitely at stake. Brandon McGorty, Waleed Suliman, Connor Lane (NC), Grant Northcutt, and potentially Peter Smith and Peter Morris all highlight some of the big names on the boys' side.
On the girls' side however it is a star-studded affair with Kate Murphy, Libby Davidson, Rachel McArthur, Sammy Watson, Heather Holt, and potentially another top distance runner who is a sub 4:40 girl in the Mile.
This group of girls is unparalleled and will likely be the perfect field to break either the Mile or 1000m national record.
