Entries are now closed for the Octoberfest Invitational to be held Saturday, October 4th at Great Meadow. A total of 81 schools and roughly 4,100 athletes are already entered. Any further entries at this point will be declined by meet management. With the Great Meadow Invite being cancelled in early September due to Tropical Storm Hanna, the urgency increased for schools to get into the second invitational to be hosted at the same venue for the VHSL State Championships. It will certainly be the featured meet of the weekend with many of the state's best competing at Octoberfest.
