Next Monday on Martin Luther King Jr. Day at the Boo Williams Sportsplex in Hampton, a track meet will be held to honor the late great track coach Pat Covas. Covas was a state champion track coach at Bethel High School back in the 1990s and made a lasting impact on the Hampton Roads area's student-athletes in multiple sports and schools due to her work and several positions inside and outside of Bethel High School. She passed away unexpectedly this past year at the age of 64.
Proceeds from the meet on January 16th will benefit the Pat Covas Memorial Scholarship fund.

Teams can still register for the meet before the Saturday, January 14th midnight deadline HERE. Meet begins at 9:00 AM on Monday from Boo Williams.
