So how many and who qualifies from VA with top 10 finishes? If not qualify, who earns All-South honors (top 24 finish)? Any favorites to win some of the class races?
I'm thinking 3 boys qualify. I like Porter, Dejarnette, and one of the AA guys (Ott, Satterwhite, Stutzman).
I think 2 girls qualify (Marsico, Wilson). Top 15 finish for Nobles and Strehler or a surprise for top 24 All-South.
I would look for Le Degfae to do well on this course. I don't know that he will qualify, but can certainly make All-South.

I saw Marsico run a 16:41 on the Giles 3 mile course. I also saw her run in at least four other meets including the state meet this year. She don't play. She is focused and knows what she has to do. I look for her to finish top five.

Dejarnette, Porter, Ott make it (in that order). Texas sends 4. Porter gets his revenge at FLN with an All-American spot. Dejarnette dies on the second pass of the hill.

To everyone out there in harrier land, Le's example gives merit to what you can achieve if you continue to put in the comprehensive work to strive for excellence(never slack for one minute)! The results may not come when you want them too, but with effort and leadership (personal and collectively), will come right on time. Take care all.
