One of the biggest matchups of the entire year comes this weekend at the VISAA State Championships. On Saint Christopher's track, known for great jump performances, we will get to see a battle on the runway that could take over the national rankings.
This matchup that is sure to get everyone's attention is Frank Royal vs. Jordan Walker. On the one hand you have the defending indoor and outdoor state champion in Walker and on the other you have US #2 Royal.
Jordan is known for stepping up at states and Royal has yet to beat him on the big stage. Jordan will also have no pressure as all with no major team title implications. Frank on the other hand is usually cool under pressure but has the weight of the world on him this weekend.
To put it Frankly, the team title could be decided on the runway this weekend. Regardless of who wins though, when you have two athletes seeded at 24-2 and 23-2 you know you will get a great competition.
