E.C. Glass' Waller Wins Two 4A State Titles

E.C. Glass may generally be known for throwers and distance runners but that is not the only type of athlete they have. Emmanuel Waller made that crystal clear last week by winning the 55mH and 300m dash state titles at the 4A State Championships.

Waller went 34.95 to win the 300m dash, on a flat track mind you, and also went 7.41 in the 55mH finals.

Though winning any state title is a huge accomplishment, the way Waller did it made it even better. First off he is a senior and now first-time state champion, you gotta love that. The second thing we noticed is how he had big PR's in both races meaning he ran the best two races of his high school career when it mattered most.

E.C. Glass will continue to be a powerhouse in distance and throws and hopefully now will continue its' upward trend in the sprints as well.
