After a long hiatus and recovery period it looks like this outdoor season we will finally get the showdown we have been waiting for all year, that showdown is Heather Holt vs Olivia Beckner. Though we saw a brief battle in XC, both were not and have not been at full strength at the same time this entire year.

The only real battle that we can recall seeing both of them at full strength was last year indoors. We have yet to see them though at states together since they were in different classifications until this year. Olivia won both meetings between the two this past XC season but Holt had essentially no prior training.
This outdoor season all that history is out the window and we should get to see one epic showdown in the 1600 and/or the 800. Expect both ladies to lay low most of the season and work towards a huge state meet.
