Connor Nisbet Wins Colonial Relays 3K In 8:48 Solo Effort

Connor Nisbet of Wilmington Friends may have not much competition to push him in the boys 3K run at the Colonial Relays on Friday in Williamsburg, Virginia. Two competitors to be exact from Maggie Walker Governor's School in Richmond, Virginia. However, the lack of a large field or even ideal weather conditions (cold and windy), did not stop Nisbet from rolling out an impressive solo effort of 8:48 to win the event.

The indoor national runner-up in the 5K this past March, Nisbet has big goals for himself for his junior and senior years of high school running. MileSplit.com was able to interview him after his victory at the Colonial Relays.
