TJ Star Titiana Marsh To Skip States & Jump in Bahamas

Thomas Dale senior and Georgia commit, Titiana Marsh, will not be competing in the 2018 VHSL 6A State Championships. This was confirmed Wednesday morning by her coach, Jay Price. She is forgoing her state competition to compete in the Bahamas at the Frederick Bastian T&F Classic as a part of Team NSAF.

She ends her Virginia career with a staggering nine state titles including an impressive 31/32 record in the triple jump in VA. She also never once dropped an outdoor state title attempt going six for six in the jumps.

She not only dominated the all-time list but also was one of the most consistently great athletes we have ever seen. She broke multiple state and national class records while eclipsing the 20 foot barrier five times and the 40 foot barrier 25 times in her high school career. That includes an active streak of 10 performances in a row over 40'.

Her most recent performance of 41-11.5 at Region 6B was one of the more impressive ones we have seen. She not only dominated that competition while almost jumping out of the pit but she did that while also winning the long jump, 100H, and finishing a close third and second in the 100 and high jump in the span of a few minutes.
