Leading the way for Virginia was Mary Caroline Heinen of Maggie Walker. She not only PR'd but absolutely demolished her previous best to the tune of a 17:42 6th place finish. She was joined by one of her best friends in Atlee's Rachel Mudd who finished 9th in 17:54. Ava Hassebrock was then 10th in 17:59. All three girls now rank VA #1, VA #2, and VA #3.

Just outside of the top 10 but also medaling was Lindsey Hester (18th - 18:17) and Kaitlynn Wolfe (20 - 18:21).

Team wise Virginia also performed very well. Blacksburg finished 5th with Loudoun Valley sixth. They were then joined by Tuscarora, Atlee, and James Madison who finished 13th, 14th, and 15th overall in this stacked race.

Team Virginia also had a 1-2 finish on the day with Natalie Bardach and Sophie Tedesco's finish in the Girls Blue Race.
