William & Mary's Adam Tenerowicz Named CAA Runner of the Week
Award Comes After 10th-Place Effort Paul Short Invitational
WILLIAMSBURG, VA - William and Mary men's cross country sophomore Adam Tenerowicz (Blackstone, VA) has been honored as the CAA Runner of the Week, the conference office announced today. The award comes after the Tribe distance ace impressed with a 10th-place showing in his first action of the season at Lehigh's Paul Short Invitational. Competing against elite runners and several ranked teams, Tenerowicz clocked a 24:17.68 to claim 10th (ninth among Division I competitors) in the 8,000m college invitational race, placing him among some of the top runners in the nation. Tenerowicz's performance led the College's split squad to a solid eighth-place finish in the 36-team, 250-runner race. William and Mary returns to action this Friday, October 1, at the Great American Cross Country Festival in Cary, NC.
