Virginia Tech drops two spots this week in the national poll
BLACKSBURG, Va. - Virginia Tech\'s men\'s track & field team ties for the No. 18 spot in the NCAA Division I according to the second edition of the Men\'s Trackwire 25 outdoor poll that was released by Trackwire.com.The Trackwire 25 for Men, including team rankings and projected national meet scores:

Tech\'s No. 16 ranking was the highest of the season in the Trackwire 25 poll.

The Trackwire 25 projects a hypothetical score for the NCAA meet, factoring in injury reports and other variables supported by information gathered from coaches and NCAA-qualfying competitions across the country.
