Stefanie Slekis is the defending Northwest Region cross country champion and has earned All-State honors twice in cross country and five times in track. Slekis has PR\'s of: 2:19 800m, 4:59.83 1600m, 18:11 5K.
Well, states is actually over. I can't believe I just raced my final high school cross-country race. (I'm going to Footlocker, but that's not the same) Everyone did so amazingly! I can't believe I almost missed the awards ceremony. I was over by our teams tarp when I heard Molly's name over the loud speakers and I was like "oh my gosh" they're doing the awards. I then proceeded to sprint as fast as I could to that building and when I got there they had just called my name.
