Ahmed Bile of Annandale ran one of the fastest 5K times in state history with his 14:38 runner-up performance at Foot Locker South. Only Alan Webb has ran faster in the MileStat.com Era (2000-present) with a 14:36 run at Hagan Stone Park (Greensboro, NC). There are two juniors who may best Bile's time one year from now after breaking 15 minutes for the first time as well at Foot Locker South and earning trips to the national race in San Diego between Chantilly's Sean McGorty (14:56) and Skyline's Thomas Madden (14:58). The Foot Locker South Regional and Nike Cross Nationals Southeast Regional produced fast times as annual expected at season's end.
