Top 50 Virginia high school boys performers in each event this indoor season in the MileStat.com database as of January 2nd. There is currently a huge gap which exists between Grassfield's Trey Holloway and the next fastest hurdler in Virginia as Holloway's 7.48 performance last month in the 55 meter hurdles at CNU is nearly three tenths of a seconds better than the next fastest hurdlers in the state. A lot of great hurdlers graduated in 2011 with Holloway and Salem's Michael Smith as the only two returnees of 13 hurdlers last year in Virginia who dipped under 7.70 in the 55 meter hurdles.
