Southern Track Classic announces partnership with Luck Foot, adds race at UVA pro meet

 
 
The STC is privileged to announce a partnership with LUCKY FOOT Running. Owner Jeff Van Horn is the leading retail specialist in GAIT ANALYSIS in the US. Mr. Van Horn has developed an easy to use, affordable iPad application that can help any level runner improve running mechanics. At the STC on May 11 Mr. Van Horn will host a coaches hospitality area.from 5 to 6:30 PM and have his mobile retail vehicle on site with his staff to answer any questions about your running needs. LUCKY FOOT also is a teams sales specialist.
 
 
On MAY 12 The Southern Classic will host a High School two mile races for boys and girls at the UVA CHALLENGE, a professional meet to be held at newly renovated Lannigan Field.  These races are sanctioned  by VHSL and NFHS through the Southern Classic and are considered to be part of that meet. This race was the brainchild of Albemarle assistant coach Alec Lorenzoni with the support of the UVA coaching staff.  This support indicates their commitment to high school track and field in our state.  This race will 16 or so high school runners the opportunity to compete at the same site and rub elbows with Olympic caliber athletes.
