Ben Deal is a graduating senior from Albemarle High School in Charlottesville, Virginia. Deal was a two-time Group AAA All-State performer in cross country in 2010 and 2011 despite missing a vast majority of his track seasons due to injury. Deal has personal bests of 1:59 for 800, 4:20 for 1600, 9:44 for 3200, and 15:53 for 5000 meters. He will be attending and running for Columbia University this upcoming year.
