Western Branch sophomore, now junior, Shadajah Ballard used her last race as a sophomore the best way she could and used it to set the state sophomore record. She did so by hurdling a blistering 13.51 in the 100H at the Russell Blunt Invitational (NC) this weekend.

By points Lake Braddock wins but if it is by time, Chantilly actually wins out thanks to a monster 14:28 ranking by Sean McGorty. Loudoun Valley should also be noted as they currently sit at 15th all-time but after this season will likely be well inside the top 10.
