CoachDSM Very impressive....along the same lines, Chantilly HS would like to congratulate Sean McGorty for breaking our school record in the 800m this Saturday with his run of 1:54.75. This is significant because it was our oldest school record, set in 1984, by Northern Region champion Todd Anderson, with a mark of 1:55.1. We have had several accomplished distance runners come through here over the last 28 years (Colling, Post, Siragusa, Foley) and none of them had touched this one. Shows how maybe the 800m could arguably be considered one of the hardest events in track & field. Congrats, Sean.
