SCRATCHES DURING THE MEET:Any scratches in any seeded or sectioned event following the coaches scratch deadline date will disqualify an individual from all subsequent running events. When a contestant who has qualified in a preliminary withdraws from competition, no substitute may replace him. If an athlete is excused from an event by a certified trainer or a physician appointed by the games committee, that athlete will be eligible for any and all other events entered unless the certified trainer or physician determines that the athlete's health would be in danger with any further participation. No event in the meet is to be held up because a participant is engaged in another event. If a contestant is entered in a field event which conflicts in the time schedule with a track event in which he is entered, he will make advance arrangements with the official in charge of the field event to postpone his attempt in the trials until after the track event has been run. No track event will be held up to accommodate a contestant likewise competing in a field event.

REPORTING FOR EVENTS: In events run by heats, all participating must report to the clerk at the marshaling area before the first heat is run. Failure to report on time will result in a scratch. Each individual declared for participation must actually participate, with the exception of the relays.

In relay events each team member will wear the same color and design school uniform (jersey & short). When other apparel is worn under the jersey by more than one team member that apparel must be identical. Participants in the High Jump and Pole Vault must report in with competition numbers but may remove numbers when competition begins.

HEAT LEADERS: These will be determined by the meet director after he receives the entry lists. The meet director will set up the heats by lot. The semifinals and finals will be set up according to the place and times run in the trials and semifinals respectively.

In lane events, participants must return to the finish line and remain in their respective lanes until the judges have reached their decision as to the places.

CONTROL OF THE FIELD: All participants will be assigned specific areas in the field house. Each coach is
directed to instruct his or her squad to remain in these areas except when competing or warming up for his or her event. All participants will be directed to warm up in a designated area. Any athletes found out of these designated areas are subject to disqualification. No coaches will be allowed on the track and/or infield areas.
