Additional InformationDear Coach,
E. C. Glass is reviving our Twilight Meet we did a few years back. The meet will be held on Friday evening May 4, 2012. This will give coaches and athletes a Saturday off from track!! Warmups will begin at 4:30pm and the meet will begin at 5pm. Running events and the pole vault will start at 5:15pm.
There is a maximum of two entries per event and one relay per event. Two individual events from each sex will be wild cards (you can enter 3). If you enter by MILESTAT, you will have to email me your wild card entries as MILESTAT entries will be restricted to 2 per event. An athlete will abide by VHSL rules concerning event eligibility. The only jewelry permitted is a watch. If an athlete scratches or does not give an honest effort in a running event, he or she will be ineligible for further participation in any running event. Entries should be sent via Team Manager (email me at email@example.com for meet events) or by MILESTAT. All entries should be RECEIVED by Tuesday, May 1 by 6pm. Late entries or changes will not be accepted. Team Manager entries should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Do NOT send entries to my school email address as they will not go through. You will get a reply to all entries sent via email with Team Manager and all wild card entries.
Concessions are available and admission for spectators will be $5. T-shirts will be sold.
AWARDS: We will keep entry fee low and not give any individual awards. However we will give trophies to the first and second place teams.
EVENTS: All standard VHSL events will be conducted. An athlete can qualify for district, region or state at this meet.

ENTRY FEE: Boys entry fee is $50 per team or $5 per athlete, whichever is less. Girls entry fee is $50 per team or $5 per athlete. Checks should be payable to E. C. GLASS TRACK. Entry fees received after May 6 will be subject to an extra $20 charge, so mail your entry fee early.
DEADLINE: Entries open on MILESTAT at 6:00pm Monday, April 23, 2012 and close at 6:00pm on Tuesday May 1, 2012. Entry fee should be mailed to Rod Camden, E. C. Glass High School, 2111 Memorial Avenue, Lynchburg, Va. 24501.
Note that these instructions are on the US Portal and you will have to return to your state site to actually find your team and enter the meet.
