Glen Allen HS Polar Bear Meet
December 19, 2012 - Glen Allen High School

This meet is only open to Capital and Colonial District teams.

Facilities: Glen Allen High School's track is an all-weather surface with 8 lanes, 55m start line, 1000m start line and alley start. Our Shot Put circle is concrete. Spikes longer than " are prohibited.

Entry Deadline: All entries must be in completed on the MileStat.com Online Entry System no later than 11:59PM December 17, 2012. Any substitutions must be e-mailed to trnadeau@henrico.k12.va.us by 10:00PM on December 18th. No Substitutions or Additions the day of the Meet. Scratches Only

Entry Procedure: You are allowed 6 entries per lane event, 5 entries in field events, 8 in distance races. "B" relays will be permitted.

Other information: There will be FAT timing for all races. All races will be finals. Order will be slowest to fastest. Times will be e-mailed to all coaches following the meet.

Warm Up Area: Please instruct your athletes to warm up outside the stadium. The field adjacent to the field house is available for warm up with the exception of the area of the Shot Put. The track is for races only.

Infield: No athletes will be allowed on the infield unless their event is being run. The area of the finish line/timing area is off limits. Coaches and athletes are asked to stay away from the timing tent and assist with keeping athletes off the infield (This will help the timing team with sight lines)

Bull Pen: Location will be at the beginning of the home stretch for all running events. Please advise athletes to check in early as we will not hold up the meet for them.

TIME SCHEDULE: WE WILL RUN EVENTS CONSECUTIVELY

5:00 PM Boys Shot Put followed by Girls
Boys High Jump followed by Girls

5:00 PM 4x800m Relay (Boys & Girls Combined)
55m Dash
1600m Run
4x400m Relay
500m Run
1000m Run
300m Dash (No Blocks)

All Running events will be sectioned on time with the fastest section being run last. In the Shot Put there will be 4 throws with no finals with the best throwers throwing last.
