WHAT: 2013 Quad States Invitational Cross Country Meet
WHERE: Woodgrove High School, 36811 Allder School Road, Purcellville VA 20132
WHEN: Saturday, October 5, 2013 - Race times TBD, but will start @ 1200 & run to late afternoon to accommodate teams traveling 2 hours & upperclassmen taken the SATs (i.e., Varsity races will be run in the mid to late afternoon)
COURSE: Flat, fast & scenic, grass/dirt on 120+ acre school campus with multiple, "up close & personal/on the rail" spectator & coaching opportunities throughout the race (1/2 mile, mile, 1.4 miles, 1.6 miles, 2 miles, 2.5 miles, finish) w/minimal walking. If you have a need for speed, this is your course. Over 90% of the race can be viewed from a single vantage point. If you feel the need for speed, this is your course.
ENTRIES: Entry fees are $225/school (girls & boys teams) & $175/single gender team. Entries must be received by Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Make checks payable to "Woodgrove High School." Mail checks to WHS, Attn: Scott Burns/Quad States Invitational.
RACES: Girls & Boys races as follows: JV Fr/So, JV Jr/Sr, Varsity. All races will be chip timed with electronic splits taken at 1-mile & 2-miles.
AWARDS: Trophies 1st, 2nd, 3rd in all races. Individual medals 25 deep in all races (no kidding, this will not be changed this year).

FACILITIES: You may bring a tent, but cannot stake it if located on the turf practice field (there are other places to stake it). There will be portable toilets and the girls & boys locker rooms will be open. Please pick up your trash before leaving. Athletic trailer will be on-site. Please bring your own tape.
From PA - US15 south from Gettysburg to US340 west toward Harpers Ferry. Take the Brunswick exit (Route 17). Turn left @ the top of the ramp & follow through several roundabouts to the light, then right & down the hill into Brunswick. Go 1/2 way around the next roundabout & then up over the Potomac River into VA (road turns into Route 287). Continue on 287 south to Route 9. Turn right on Route 9 to light in Hillsboro. Turn left on 690 south towards Purcellville to roundabout. Take 3rd exit out of roundabout onto Allder School Road. Go about 1/4 mile to school on right.
From points east: Take Route 7 to/around Leesburg then up into western Loudoun County. Take the Route 287/Purcellville exit. Turn left at the bottom of the ramp. Turn right at the next light onto Hirst. Go about a mile. Turn right at the stop sign onto Purcellville Road. Go about a mile. Turn left onto Allder School Road. Go about 3/4 mile to the school on the left.
From points west: Take Route 7 east to Purcellville/Route 287 exit. Turn right at the end of the ramp. Turn right at the light onto Hirst. Follow directions about.
From Fairfax County/DC area: Take Dulles Toll Road/Greenway to Leesburg. Take Route 7 west. Follow directions above.
From points south: Take I-66 to Haymarket exit (US15). Take US15 north to Leesburg. Get on Route 7 west. Follow directions above.
LOST?: Call Coach Ciccarelli (703.431.0240). He's really good with directions.
PARKING: $5.00/car donation. Room for 1,000+ vehicles.
