There could be at least 4 potential state champion squads in different classifications coming out of this weekend's William & Mary Invitational for the boys between Deep Run in 5A, Lafayette in 3A, Maggie Walker in 2A, and Veritas School in the private schools. Deep Run is hoping to get Grayson Reid back to racing this weekend after an injury plagued junior season, but one of the highlights was at last year's William & Mary Invite when he pulled off an upset victory in 15:59. Reid could very well open as the team's #4 runner with a talented group of teammates in Matthew Novak, Alex Varon, and Brandon Von Kannewurf.
