The E. C. GLASS
JUNIOR VARSITY INVITATIONAL track and field meet will be held at E. C.
Glass track on Saturday, May 13, 2006.Field events will begin at 10:00 A.M. and the running events will begin at 11:30 A.M.
ELIGIBILITY:All athletes in the 8th and 9th
grade are eligible to compete.In
addition 10th graders can compete in any event in which they are not
qualified to compete in their district meet (including relays of the same leg
distance).In addition an athlete must
be 16 years of age or less.There is a
maximum of three individual entries per event and one relay team per
event.No jewelry will be permitted and
if an athlete scratches or does not give an honest effort, he or she will be
ineligible for further competition in the running events.You must enter by Hy-Tek Team Manager or
Direct Athletics.When entering via Team
Manager, send an email message to
file sent to you.
AWARDS:Ribbons will be awarded to places 1-6 and a
team trophy will be awarded to the winning teams.
EVENTS:
All standard VHSL events will be conducted.We will abide by VHSL rules.

ENTRY FEE: Boys entry fee is $30 per team or $3 per
athlete, whichever is less.Girls entry
fee is $30 per team or $3 per athlete, whichever is less.There is a $10 extra charge per school
for Direct Athletic entries.
Checks should be payable to normal\'>E. C. GLASS TRACK.
DEADLINE: Direct Athletics entries are due by 6:00pm Sunday,
May 7, 2006.Email Team
Manager entries are due by noon on Monday, May 8, 2006.
MUST PUT LCS2006A ON THE SUBJECT LINE IN ORDER FOR ME TO GET THE ENTRIES.No
