Meet Information
Coaches, Athletic Directors, Cross Country lovers,
I would formally like to invite any and all high schools and middle
schools to the Hilltopper High School Cross Country Invitational hosted
by EC Glass High School to be held on September 23, 2006 at the
Presbyterian Home in Lynchburg, VA.
The Presbyterian Home 5k course is a rolling cross country course that
your athletes will find exciting and challenging. The course is almost
entirely grass with some dirt trail. The course has been recently
repaired to bring it up to the high standards necessary to host an
invitational. Spectators will find the course friendly as athletes will cross an
intersection near the start, finish line 3 times with open race viewing
on the nearby fields. We will also hold an open race for coaches,
parents or anyone who wants to participate.
We will hold two varsity races, two junior varsity races with
unlimited entries and two middle school races. If you are an athletic director
please pass this email on to your coach. Also you can also pass this
email to your middle school programs so they can participate also.
If you are interested please send me an email to help me plan
accordingly with the Presbyterian Home, possible sponsors and t-shirt printers.
