Dear Coaches,
I hope you are having a great indoor track season. Here are the details for our 2A/1A East Region Indoor Track and Field Championship. Please see the attached material.
Coaches please pay particular attention the following notes:
Date: Tuesday February 17th, 2015
Time: Track opens 10:30AM, Coaches Meeting 11:15AM Start time is 12:00pm
Entry: All athletes and relays competing in the meet must meet either the region or state standard for this meet. The State and Region standards are attached. All entries will be done on milestat. All entries will be verified in milestat. If they are not verifiable see note below.
Entries that are not verifiable on milestat: All entries must be verified through the milestat database or a copy of results can be emailed to mtompkins@ycsd.york.va.us for entries that are not verifiable through the milestat database. Results need to be sent to mtompkins@ycsd.york.va.us no later then Tuesday, February 11th, 2015 when entries are due on milestat. (Unverifiable entries will be scratched from the meet on Wednesday, February 12th)
Charge: Schools who enter will be charged a fee to offset the cost of the meet. These will be sent to ADs from our Athletic Director office.
Spectator Fee: Spectators will be charged a $6.00 fee for entry into the meet.
2ND ANNUAL BOY'S & GIRL'S 1A-2A EAST REGIONAL INDOOR TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS (HYBRID)
STATE MEET QUALIFYING: THE TOP SIX (6) FINISHERS IN EACH INDIVIDUAL EVENT AND THE TOP SIX (6) RELAYS FROM THE REGIONAL MEET AND ANY ATHLETE OR RELAY TEAM MEETING THE 2014-2015 STATE STANDARDS WILL ADVANCE TO THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP MEET.SCHEDULED AT LIBERTY UNIVERSITY IN LYNCHBURG, VA ON WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 25-26, 2015
STATE MEET ENTRIES: STATE MEET ENTRY INFO CAN BE FOUND ON THE VHSL WEBSITE. ENTRIES WILL BE DONE ONLINE VIA THE MILESTAT ENTRY SYSTEM. COMPLETE STATE MEET ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE INCLUDED IN YOUR REGIONAL TEAM PACKET.
