Plenty of great performances to recap from this weekend as Virginia Tech Invitational was a spring board meet for US #1\'s and US all-time performances, while the St. Christopher\'s Invite held its own as well in the first major invitational ever held at the private school\'s one year old 200 meter indoor track facility.

Last year\'s Virginia Tech High School Invitational saw a national record for 300 meters from Bethel VA\'s Francena McCorory as well as a slew of US #1 and US top 5 performances. The 2007 Virginia Tech Invite with meet director Dan Ward under the helm for the second year in a row as the coordinator of traditionally one of the nation\'s top high school invitational promises to be just as strong if not the best ever at Rector Fieldhouse.

The Virginia Tech Indoor Invitational is going to be a very large event, with about 90 schools entered so far. About a third of those schools are from Maryland. No entries will be accepted after the deadline.

The number of entries listed per event are general guidelines, not absolutes as are the dual athletes standards. If you have worthy dual athletes in an event Please fax them to ROD CAMDEN as directed in the instructions. Please include all athletes GRADE in school. Be reminder that from noon January 8 until noon January 10 the entries will be re-opened to allow coaches to scratch and substitute from their ORIGINAL roster.
