Nelson County head track coach Tim Bennett has been a great ambassador for progress in the sport in the state in attempting to create an unofficial Group A State Indoor Championship. With the last second venue change to a newer and higher quality indoor track facility at Liberty University from its past location at the Lynchburg College Field House, the numbers and quality of athletes and teams in attendance showed the small schools of Virginia are very deserving of an indoor meet.
Performance list for the 2007 Virginia Group A State Invitational to be held Saturday, February 10th at the Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. The meet has moved from the Lynchburg College Fieldhouse to Liberty University\'s Tolsma Track Center. The performance list still lists in yards for Lynchburg College Fieldhouse, but the metric equivalent in events will be run on Saturday.
