The team roster is limited to 25 athletes per gender.
Each athlete may compete in 3 running events (3200 m. athletes only 2 running events) and any number of field events.

ADMISSION: General Admission - $5.00

EVENT LIMIT: Schools are limited to a total of Twenty Five (25) Entries per school per gender. There are no event limits of individual entrants per school by event. The VHSL maximum event limit rule applies per athlete (3 running events and any number of Field events per athlete). Schools may have only ONE (1) Team ENTRY in each of the relay events. Relay members must come from the entered athletes be sure to enter all possible relay personal in you 25-athlete limit.

ENTRY FEES: $200.00 per team (boys and girls teams are considered separate teams), $325 for both, (boys and girls teams paid at the same time and by May, 2, 2016)or $25.00 per individual if less than a team.

ENTRY CHANGES: There will be no additions and or substitution after the entry deadline.

STARTING HEIGHTS: High Jump:
Boys - 5'6" raised 2' to 6'4" and 1" thereafter;
Girls - 4'6" raised 2" to 5'4" and 1" thereafter
Pole Vault:
Boys - 8'6" raised 6" to 13'6" and 3" thereafter.
Girls - 7'6" raised 6" to 10'6" and 3" thereafter

PREFERRED LANE ASSIGNMENT: 100 meter Dash, 110 meter High Hurdles and 100 meter Low Hurdles ~ 4,3,5,2, 6,1,8,7 (7 inside lane 1) 200 meter Dash, 300 meter Hurdles, 400 meter Dash and 4 x 100meter Relay ~ 3,4,5,2,1,6,7
#### NOTE: Lane races will be drawn after athletes check in with the CLERK. Athletes who fail to check in by the final call will not be assigned lanes and therefore they will not be permitted to race.

SCORING: 10-8-6-4-2-1 FOR ALL EVENTS.

TRACK: 400 Meter Synthetic Surface - flats or up to 3/8" spikes may be worn. No other types of spikes may be used. Races from the 400 Meter Dash and below will be run in lanes. Pole vault, long, triple and high jumps have synthetic surface runways. Port-A-Pit will be used for pole vault and high jump.
Shot and discus are thrown from concrete circles.

RULES: VHSL and National Federation rules are in effect for the meet.
NOTE: Your states may have additional or stricter rules that require your compliance.

VIRGINIA INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPATION: VHSL event limit rule: In one meet a contestant may compete in any number of field events but will be limited to participation in only three running events, except that a contestant who competes in the 3200 meter run may compete in only one other running event on the same day that the 3200 meter event is run.

10-minute rule for field events: Athletes scheduled in both a running event and a field event at the same time must check out from the field event and report to their running event before the last call for that running event. Athletes will have 10 minutes to return to the field event and check in with the head official. If the athlete does not return within the 10 minutes and check in with the head event judge will risk being charged with an unsuccessful attempt or a pass at a height. Field events will not delay for a running event.

Athlete Check In (running events): Athletes are to check in with the clerk before the last call for the event. Athletes who check in after the final call risk not racing.
