Scoring: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1

Awards: Conference 33 Awards Policy

Facilities: 400 Meter, 8 lanes; all-weather track. Concrete shot and discus throwing surfaces. All- weather surfaces on LJ/TJ & PV runways and HJ surface. All-weather spikes of 14 or less and flats may be used on the all-weather surfaces. Locker rooms are not available. Athletes should come dressed to run. Restrooms will be open in the stadium

Trainer: A Certified Athletic Trainer will be on duty . Ice and emergency care supplies will be available. Schools who have athletes that need taping, etc. should supply their own tape, pre-wrap, etc.

Admission: $6.00 VHSCA, VIAAA & VHSL PRINCIPALS, VHSL STATE MEET and HONORED GUEST PASSES will be accepted. FACULTY passes WILL NOT be accepted. Athletes will be admitted by uniform

Concessions: Concessions will be available throughout the meet

Equipment: Meet management will furnish starting blocks, shots and discuses. All other equipment, team or personal, must be supplied by the competing teams and individuals

Uniform: Athletes are required to wear the official school uniform. Competitor numbers and hip numbers, if
furnished,, must be worn.

Entry Limitation: Each school may list a maximum of three (3) entries for each individual event, unless all entries listed for that event have met the Conference 33 meet qualifying standard for that event, in which case all qualified athletes may be listed. Each school is allowed only one (1) relay team per relay event. NO ENTRY WILL BE ACCEPTED THAT HAS NOT COMPETED IN THEIR EVENT OR AN EVENT THAT QUALIFIES FOR THEIR EVENT IN A BONAFIDE MEET DURING THE CURRENT OUTDOOR SEASON

Relay Declaration: Relay teams will be officially declared on a relay declaration card when the team reports to the Clerk of Course for check-in. At that time a maximum of six (6) athletes from your entry roster may be listed, any four (4) of which may run. The relay will count as an event only for those athletes who actually run

Entry Forms: All entries must be submitted on-line via the MileStat entry system no later than 11:59 PM, Sunday, May 15, 2016. Only performances verified by the MileStat data base for the current Outdoor season will be allowed for entry. Please use the Relay Names to enter a maximum of 8 athletes who might run each relay so they appear on your team roster. Athletes who do not appear on the team roster will not be eligible for relay teams

Regional Meet Qualifying: The top six (6) finishers in each event and the top 3 relays from the Conference meet
and any athlete or relay team meeting the 2016 regional standards at the Conference meet or any sanctioned regular season meet of 4 or more teams may advance to the 2A East Region Championships.

Parking: School will still be in session when teams arrive. Hence the following Special team drop-off & parking instructions: All buses can drop off athletes anytime they arrive. Then buses will park in the Va. Union parking lot. Leave our student parking lot and take a left. At the round-about take a right. After you pass the softball field the parking lot is immediately on the your left, behind the field. If that lot is full, continue straight at the round-about and the 2nd lot is past the football field on your right at the corner of Lombardy and Brook. Buses are in the Va. Union lot until 3:55 when our student lot has emptied. Buses can then come to our student lot.

NOTE: ROUND UP ALL HAND TIMES TO THE NEXT HIGHEST TENTH THEN ADD O.24 SECONDS TO CONVERT TO FAT

EXAMPLE: 100 M HAND TIME ON WATCH 11.21 = 11.3 + 0.24 = 11.54 FAT

When converting hand times for non-standard events, add 0.24 seconds before using muliplier/divisor

EXAMPLE: 1500 M HAND TIME ON WATCH 4:35.31 = 4:35.4 + 0.24 = 4:35.64 X 1.0737 = 4:55.96 1600 M (FAT)

CONFERENCE 33 CHAMPIONSHIP MEET QUALIFYING

EACH TEAM IS LIMITED TO A MAXIMUM OF THREE (3) ATHLETES IN EACH INDIVIDUAL EVENT UNLESS ALL ENTRIES FOR THAT EVENT HAVE MET THE CONFERENCE QUALIFYING STANDARD IN A REGULAR SEASON MEET. NO TEAM MAY START MORE THAN ONE (1) RELAY TEAM PER RELAY EVENT. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE PARTICIPATED IN THEIR EVENT DURING THE REGULAR SEASON.
