Tatu bounces back with stellar race

CHESTERFIELD, VA --
After a lackluster performance at the Georgetown Prep Classic last weekend, Thomas Dale
junior Thomas Dale bounced back with a stellar race at the Central District Meet.
Tatu won the boys race as he clocked a 16:19 on the Pocahontas State Park 5K course.


Tatu also got to enjoy a district team title as the Thomas Dale boys were victorious with
a team total of 26 points. The Knights were able to place six runners in the top ten with
Jon Turnbull (3rd, 17:43), Belcher (5th, 18:11), Moncman (8th, 18:27), Sean Wallace (9th, 18:33),
and Brian Robertson (10th, 18:39) supporting Tatu.


Thomas Dale also had the individual winner on the girl's side as Bridget Dryer cruised to
victory with her time of 21:05. However, the Prince George girls got the better of the Lady
Knights with five runners in the top ten for a team score of 27 points.
