MANASSAS, VA --
The #10 ranked squad in the state, the Stonewall Jackson girls, won the Cedar Run District Meet
with ease as they placed five runners in the top ten for a team score of 32 points. Forming the
"Stonewall" was race winner Dana Thomas (20:09), Kristen Milot (6th, 21:15.3), Kerry Urso (7th,
21:28.8), Allison Behrle (8th, 21:57.6), and Jordan Richmond (10th, 22:26.3). Advancing along
with Stonewall Jackson to the Northwest Region Meet next week at Panorama Farms in Charlottesville
will be Osbourn Park (49 pts), Osbourn (53 pts), and Potomac (97 pts).

Winning the boys race on the Signal Park 3.2 mile course was Osbourn Park's Anthony Arena in
a time of 17:33.6. Like the Stonewall Jackson girls, the Osbourn boys placed five runners in
the top ten to win the boys race with 34 points. Osbourn Park (39 pts), Stonewall Jackson (63 pts),
and Potomac (100 pts) qualified to move onto the regional meet. Strong winds and a long course led to slower times in both races.
