2:30 FINALS (ALL RUNNING EVENTS WILL BE FINALS DONE BY SECTIONS FROM SLOWEST TO FASTEST).

ELIGIBLES

1. 1A Regional Teams 3 entries per event

(expectation: when in the event a team has members in an event where ALL members have a Regional Qualifying times/distances, then more than 3 may be entered.) 1 relay, 4 x 400, 1600, 3200 per team.

2. Have attained Regional or State Qualifying Standards in a VHSL sanctioned meet with 4 or more teams with F.A.T. system and that qualification has been certified by the sanctioned meets director. (NO HAND TIMES, CONVERTED TIMES, OR FIELD MARKS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR QUALIFICATION FROM EVENTS THAT DO NOT HAVE F.A.T. TIMING.)

Qualifying Standards will be available for your district from your respective director and Regional standards are provided on this site. All certified regional and state qualification forms from any sanctioned must be forwarded to the Regional Director no later than 6:00 P.M. May 19, 2018 for verification on Milestat.com. Only the top six (4) individuals per event and top four (4) relay teams qualify for the state meet from the regional meet unless state qualifying standards have been attained. Team entries must be made through Milestat.com. Entries and qualifying standards must be verified via email to the Regional Director.

DO NOT COST AN ATHLETE THE OPPORTUNITY TO COMPETE IN THE REGIONAL TRACK MEET!!!!!! PLEASE READ AND BE FAMILIAR WITH ALL RULE CHANGES AS LISTED IN THE NFHS RULE BOOK AND THE RULES CLINIC FOR COACHES AND OFFICIALS ON THE VHSL WEBSITE.

SCRATCH MEETING

No additions will be allowed at this meeting. Only deletions and corrections will be allowed. Heats and Sections may be re-seeded after the meeting.

EQUIPMENT: Each team is responsible for providing their own shot, discus, baton, etc. Stonewall Jackson High School will provide starting blocks. All competitors must use 1/4 inch pyramid spikes of flats while competing. Violations of maximum length spikes will result in disqualification.

DISQUALIFICATION

Competitor(s) shall be disqualified from his/her event if a coach or team member is in the infield area designated for competition. THIS ONLY APPLIES WHEN RUNNING EVENTS ARE IN PROGRESS. These areas must have competitors who are actually competing. Each contestant in the running events must check in with the Clerk of the Course in the designated area by the second call. Running events take precedence over field events. No track event will be held up for a contestant. Coaches are reminded to be familiar with the 2017/2018 NFHS Track & Field Rules Book: The ultimate responsibility to have each competitor compliant with the uniform rule is with the coach.

SCORING: Points for all events will be awarded on a 10-8-6-4-2-1 for the top six (6) places.

Team Bus Parking: in the lot next to the track.

Team tents are to be in the event area, along the fenced area behind the bleachers on the finish line side.

Admission: $ 7.00 , pre-schoolers free
