Capital District Meet
April 11- Highland Springs High School
This meet is for the following schools ONLY (Henrico, Varina, Hermitage, Atlee, Lee-Davis, Armstrong, Hanover, Patrick Henry)
Entry Deadline: All entries must be in using the MileStat online entry system no later than 5:00 am, April 9, 2018. No Substitutions or Additions the day of the Meet. Scratches Only
Concessions: There will be a concession stand open during the meet.
Entry Limitations: 4 entries per lane event, 4 entries in field events, 8 in distance races, 2 Relays.
Other information: There will be FAT timing for all races. All races will be finals. Order will be slowest to fastest. Times will be e-mailed to all coaches following the meet.
Warm Up Area: Please instruct your athletes to warm up outside the stadium or on the practice field behind the away bleachers in the designated areas. We will close the track for warm up at 5:00 in order to start on time.
Infield: No athletes will be allowed on the infield unless their event is being run. The area of the finish line/timing area is off limits. Coaches and athletes are asked to stay away from the timing area and keep athletes off the infield.
Bull Pen: Location will be at the start line for all running events. Please advise athletes to check the meet program and get hip numbers for all distance races. Lane race will not need hip numbers.
TIME SCHEDULE: WE WILL RUN EVENTS CONSECUTIVELY

Girls High Jump followed by Boys
Boys Discus followed by Girls
Girls Shot Put followed by Boys
Pole Vault will be run girls and boys together

3200m Run (Girls & Boys Combined if entries allow)

All Running events will be sectioned on time with the fastest section being run last. In the Field Events there will be 4 attempts with no finals with the best competitors going last.
