So I don't why I've decided to start blogging again, but I was pretty excited about today's and yesterday's runs. I ran the horridly cold and icy/rainy Reindeer run in 20:11 yesterday. I was pleased with the effort especially under the conditions. Today's run was the farthest I've in a year almost exactly as I ran 8 miles which is the farthest I've run since last year BR beach half. The run started off slowly but gradually picked up and Greg and I purposely picked up the pace the last 2 miles. We conversed through 6 miles and then focused on picking up the pace. I needed this run to get my confidence back. I'm excited to start gearing up for the Mambo 10k in February. Also, yesterday's race was my last race as a teenager.
