Unlike most, I dont see a probably with Pixar taking this movie into fairy tale territory and using a princess as their protagonist. It is still unique from other Disney movies in that this story revolves around familial love rather than romantic lovesomething that this movie actually shuns world cup soccer, in a way. It isnt a safe story at all; and really, was anybody in the audience expecting the spell to have the result it had? Well, he makes the interfering and destructive best bud a fuzzy little teddy bear that has magically come to life, and what would be rote and banal with a normal human character suddenly becomes very surreal and funny monster beats headphones. How many times have we seen friends sitting on a couch smoking weed and talking trash in a movie? Tons of times, thats how many. But how often have we seen a teddy bear taking bong rips and tweeting and driving? But while having multiple storylines in one film can work, in this movie it doesnt. Theres no focusis the main storyline the romance between Sherrie and Drew? Stacee Jaxxs redemption? Patricias crusade against rock-and-roll? The different characters converge at the end in a way that is unsatisfying trx exercises, even anti-climatic, while some of the storylines pursued throughout the films course are left open to assumption. Use a sunscreen with a SPF of 15 or higher that provides broad-spectrum coverage on children six months of age and older beats by dre.
