These are some of the pictures taken of the D.C. Striders team at the 1980 Atlanta Track Classic. The Striders were an all-star team made up of runners from Virginia and Maryland. I'll post a roster of the athletes we took in the Forum.
The East Coast Invitational used to be run on a banked wooden track at the Richmond Coliseum. It was one of the premier indoor invitationals on the East Coast. It drew not only some of the best high school athletes but some of the best college and open athletes.
These are just a few shots of the action so you can see what can be done at the Coliseum.
