Junior Regina Miles set a new school record in the pole vault with a leap of 9'0" in the Southern Classic track meet on Friday May 12. The wildcats quartet of Ashley Fleming,Kaitlin Scott,Sydnee Lopes and Kenya Rollins ran a season best of 49.64 in the 4by 100 relay. Fleming also placed 5th in the Long Jump.

The Lady Wildcats 4by4 relay team of Alea Stevens,Sydnee Lopes,Ashley Fleming & Freshman Kaitlin Scott set a new meet record in a time of 3:58.91sec at the Milestat Elite Invite, Stevens also set a new mark in the 300 hurdles in a time of 44.92, Sophomore Jessie Destry came home with a 4th place medal in the Devlopmental 200 meters with a personal best time of 27.81secs
The lady wildcats finihed in the Runner-up position at a Windy Wolverine Inv. in Stafford,Va. 77pts was good enough for the 2nd place throphy.Senior Alea Stevens set a new meet record in the 300hurdles in a time 0f 44.70 seconds. The wildcats will compete in the Lee Davis Inv. on Saturday April 21st.

About Our Team
The wildcats enter the 2008-2009 season with a young team.Leading the way will be junior Mikala Carrington who returns as the wildcats only state performer from the 2007-2008 season,Carrington should be a strong regional perfomer in the long jump,triple jump and shot put.The wildcats ladies have an outside chance at making the states in the 4by 200 relay.Sophomore Ravien Thorpe should be much improved and senior Jessica Johnson should make the states in the 55hurdles.
