Coaches,
Due to tomorrow afternoon's forecast for heavy rain and thunderstorms, we have adjusted the race schedule slightly. Races will now begin 25 minutes apart and the awards ceremonies will happen after each race at the sound tent. There will not be a large awards ceremony at the conclusion of the races. Thank you for your flexibility and understanding. We want to ensure we get all the races in for the kids. We also need to make sure cars exit the parking field before the heavy rain and that we clean up the property before Saturday evening's wedding at Oatlands. Thank you again.

At the conclusion of the meet, we would ask for your cooperation by throwing your team trash in the white truck and trailer that will be parked in the middle of the team tent area. This will greatly speed up our clean up process.

Additional Final Meet Instructions
Coaches,
We are ready and exited for Saturday's races. This email is intended to provide you with some necessary last minute information in preparation forSaturday. Please email this to the appropriate parent and athlete email lists that you may have so they're ready as well.
A few Oatlands Plantation rules:
1. NO DOGS are allowed on the property.
2. No car parking on the main driveway grass at all. The grass is caution taped off, so the cars will be towed if they attempt to park there illegally.
3. All cars will park in the main field ($5/car; please have the cash ready to spead up the traffic off of Rt. 15).
4. No athletes or spectators are permitted near the mansion and carriage house (they are the opposite direction from the race field).
COACHES PARKING:
All coaches are encouraged the ride the bus. Since we do not have the main driveway grass to utilize for VIP's/coaches, all coaches will need to park in the main parking lot with the $5 charge. We just do not have special space anymore for coaches.
THE WEATHER:
As of now, the forecast is calling for mid-afternoon to late day rain and thunderstorms. As of now, we are NOT changing the race schedule. If the forecast should necessitate, a change we will reply all to this email BY 9PM FRIDAY NIGHT. Hopefully then you can email parents to let them know in case they are coming at the very specific time to watch their child run. We would not start the day an earlier; we would simply have the races start closer together than every 30 minutes. The race schedule has been posted as 9am (JV Upperclassmen Boys), 9:30 am (JV Upperclassmen Girls), 10am (Varsity A Girls), 10:30am (Varsity A Boys), 11am (JV Underclassmen Girls), 11:30am (JV Underclassmen Boys), 12 noon (Varsity B Girls), 12:30pm (Varsity B Boys). This is different from years past, but not different than what we have posted for months for this year's race.
T-SHIRTS will be on sale as in year's past for $10. We sell out every year in just an hour or two, so encourage your athletes to buy early if they want one.
CONCESSIONS will be available throughout the day.
