RADFORD, Va. – Radford University will be hosting the fifth annual Faster, Farther, Higher High School track meet this weekend on Friday and Saturday at Patrick D. Cupp Memorial Stadium.
Head Coach Glenn Terry announced that the meet will have a rolling time schedule with the coaches meeting taking place on Friday at 2:30 pm in the infield.
Throwing events are scheduled to begin at 3:00 pm starting with the boys’ discus. Running events are slated for a 3:30 pm start beginning with the boys’ 4x800 meter relay.
Saturday’s action will begin at 9:00 am with the girls’ discus. The running events will get underway at 9:30 am with the boys’ 110 hurdle final.
Teams competing this year will consist of: Bassett, Blacksburg, Brookville, Cave Spring, Christiansburg, Dunbar, Franklin County, Giles, Glenvar, Grayson County, Henrico, James River (Buchanan), Jefferson Forest, Lord Botetourt, Middlesex, Northumberland, Pulaski County, Radford, Salem, Staunton River, West Johnston and Wilson (Pa.).
