Virginia Intermont Track Athletes Need Your Help!

Due to financial circumstances and the serious threat of the institution closing, Virginia Intermont College’s track team has lost funding for the 2007 NAIA National Track & Field Championships to be held in Fresno, California May 24-26th. The school itself must raise $4-million in order to open its doors next fall. So things are not looking too good for these hard working runners.

But you can do something to assist. You can help us get these snakes, er… the Cobras, out to the west coast.

Check out our webpage at www.snakesonaplanetonationals.com to see how you can help either by donating airline frequent flier miles or good old green cash.

And also, do the Cobras a favor by forwarding on this information to your friends and family who might be able to help.

Virginia Intermont College has won the past three consecutive NAIA National Men’s Cross Country Titles and has twice been the NAIA National Track Runners-up
