With so many great performances, both individually and as a team, we had to narrow this list down to a more realistic number of choices. Check out the candidates then vote on your favorite and whom you feel was the best performer this week.

Read about the candidates below then Vote Here!

Libby Davidson (E.C. Glass, 4A North)

This week Libby not only won the 4A North Region, arguably the hardest regional course, with the fastest time run in the state this week but she also beat the best 3K runner in the country, Weini Kelati. Libby showed just how good she was this week by taking the title in a meet and course record 17:43.

Alex Corbett (Lake Braddock, 6A North)

Alex ran a perfect race to cross the line in 14:41! This is one of the best 3 Mile times in the state this year and 4 seconds faster then Andrew Hunter's regional 3 Mile time. Corbett however had some of the toughest competition in the entire state with 3 guys running sub 15 and an additional two running 15:00.00 in his race. He also led his Bruin teammates to a Region 6A North team title.

Rachel McArthur (Patriot, 6A North)

As only a sophomore Rachel McArthur showed us it is not all about Libby Davidson and Weini Kelati. She ran a very impressive 17:21 to win the 6A North crown over some tough competition. Her finish also helped her Patriot teammates advance on to the state competition next week.

Allie Klimkiewicz (Oakton, 6A North)

Allie is the only non-champion to make this list, and for good reasons. Allie had the race of her season and threw down a very impressive 17:30 to finish as the 6A runner-up. She did however do what McArthur did not do through leading her Oakton teammates to a team title narrowly over James Madison... both teams were tied through 4 runners.

Peter Seufer (E.C. Glass, 4A North)

Peter, like his teammate Libby, made quick work of this very difficult course (15:47) but actually won by a much larger margin. He destroyed all sorts of records with this performance and moved himself up to being one of the favorites in the 4A state title race.

Julia Wood (Rappohannock County, 1A East)

Julia, someone not a ton of people are familiar with, blazed the 1A East Region and won in a very impressive 18:36 time. What is most impressive is that she is setting all these records as an underclassmen too!

Andrew Hunter (Loudoun Valley, 14:45)

What more can we say about Andrew? This week he won another race in another impressive fashion. His time was 14:45 for 3 Miles and his margin of victory was quite sizeable. Let's not forget though that he is only a junior too!

Ciara Donohue (Loudoun Valley, 17:43)

Ciara has been slowly making her way up the state leaderboard in a classification that is centered around Blacksburg. With her time this week, 17:43 for 3 Mile, she has now moved into the position of being one of potential champions at 3A. Her time was one of the fastest 3 Miles in the state this year as well.

Gannon Willcutts (Western Albemarle, 3A West)

Winning against Blacksburg on Blacksburg's course is not easy but Cannon made it look that way. Gannon blazed through this moderately difficult course in an impressive 15:47 to take home the title.

Heather Holt (George C. Marshall, 5A North)

Heather Holt ran a very fast 18:27 to take home the 5A North Individual and Team Title. She did this all on the very hilly and unforgiving Panorama Farms course too!

Matthew Novak (Deep Run, 5A South)

Matthew Novak showed us again why he is the favorite for the 5A state title by posting a season best 15:18 time to take home the 5A South Regional title.
